My name is Kamelah (Mimi) Adams. I am a NE Portland Native, raised in the historic Albina district, rich with the people & voices of my heritage. I graduated from Grant High school in 1998, and later started my college career at Portland Community College and later transferring to Portland State University.
I am a mother of two and I am very active in my community. I volunteer my time to better the educational outcomes of all students and coordinate community engagement events.
My passion for social justice and artistic design led me to create Mimi’s Fresh Tees, LLC. People want to make sure others know who they are, and where they stand, without uttering a word. I am excited about helping everyone wear their truth!
